Travel The World!

It’s not like in the previous games – here, the whole world is the scenery! North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia, and the Chinese city of Lanshiang. There are four distinct yet interwoven story threads for either solo or co-op play, both offline and online.

This way, you get to experience how the zombie apocalypse affected other countries globally. Resident Evil 6 promises and delivers on being no longer confined to one specific situation.

Each story is not only in a specific location. The narrative moves between North America, Eastern Europe, and China, but it also through many players’ perspectives. This happens with intertwined campaigns. With so many different perspectives and gameplay styles – you can really understand how the story unfolds.

Crossover gameplay allows gamers to play together online and tackle the tasks in front of them. Up to four players can join the session. There are many points when the narrative draws pairs of characters (Ada Wong’s campaign is only a singleplayer). Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Ada Wong are joined by, among others, Jake Muller to face the plague!

With the action taking place in so many incredible places – it’s great to observe how it all comes down together. It’s a player co-op gameplay never seen before in the series.

New Gameplay

There’s also a unique system of fighting. During the game, you gain skill points that let you upgrade your abilities like faster reload speed, improved firepower, or increasing your health bar.

Can action and survival horror Resident Evil 6 deliver a new control system in such a stale franchise? Well, it can, and it is also something completely different than before. You can shoot while you move, roll like there is no tomorrow, and, if necessary, hide and smash your enemies with an enhanced melee attack.

New Zombies

There are new zombies on the rise! The results of the other C-virus mutations are getting stronger and weirder. This time, we have new threats: J’avo and Chrysalids! Also – a new Agent Hunt mode. It’s an all-new online mode where you can become something you hunt. Take the enemy side and transform into deadly forms of the virus!

A plot that can deliver both different perspectives at significant points must be an interesting one. And it is! We do not go back to Raccoon City right away. First, we meet our old heroes joined by new characters, including Jake Muller and Helena Harper.
